Xiaomi Mi A2’s About Section Leaked Image

“The Xiaomi Mi A2 is expected to feature the same design as Mi 6X and run the stock version of Android”
Xiaomi Mi A2 has been in news for quite some time now, with the handset being spotted on benchmarking as well as certification websites. Now, further details have been leaked about the handset through an alleged live image of the smartphone’s ‘about phone’ option.

As you can see in the live image (above), the Xiaomi Mi A2 has been tipped to run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Now, as the handset in the image resembles the design of the Xiaomi Mi 6X and seems to be running the stock version of Android, there’s a very good chance that the smartphone in the live image is indeed the Mi A2.

Separately, on the Spanish section of the Mi Forum, an alleged camera sample (above) taken by the Xiaomi Mi A2 has been spotted. The camera sample shows a good dynamic range and comes with 12MP resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. Notably, a recently spotted listing also suggested that the smartphone will feature a 12MP primary camera sensor at the rear.

For those who are unaware, according to a recently spotted listing on a Swiss website, Xiaomi Mi A2 is expected to sport a 5.99-inch FHD+ with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is suggested to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, customers will likely get options including 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. Just like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi A2 is also expected to be an Android One smartphone.

The retailer’s website also suggested that the Xiaomi Mi A2 will sport a vertically stacked dual camera setup at the rear, with a primary 12MP sensor. At the front, the handset is expected to feature a 20MP selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to house a 3,010mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
