 Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Indian Railways cancelled passenger trains services till 14 April, after which now the railway started the process of booking tickets from 15 April, now the number of passengers booking online ticket is increasing rapidly.

As soon as the ticket booking process started, the waiting list started increasing in many trains including Goa, Pratapgarh Express from April 15. However, the seats in many trains still available. The running of trains from April 15 means the lockdown will be not extended further. Earlier, the Central Government Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba also said that at present, the government has no plans to extend the lockdown period. It is completely rumoured.

At the same time, the ticket is being booked, but the final decision of train operations will be taken by the Railway Board. IRCTC will not allow ticket booking till 14 April as railway operations is suspended, the trains will start running from 15 April, ticket booking service has started in its anticipation.
